Faces Skincare performs all waxing services with Epillyss wax, a high quality and high performance wax, Winner of Dermascope’s 2015 Aestheticians’ Choice Awards and Cirepil wax.

Waxing is not recommended for people on Accutane or using Retin-A, Obagi and Retinols. Lifting of the skin can occur so please be sure to share this information in advance.

To ensure a quality wax it’s important to allow the hair to grow 2-3 weeks or be 1/4” long.

Ibuprofen may be taken a half hour before your appointment to reduce pain or sensitivity.

It is best to refrain from any excessive heat, work outs, saunas/hot-tubs, tanning booths and direct sun exposer the first 24 hours after waxing as these can lead to sensitivity and/or bacteria entering the hair follicle.

Regular exfoliation with a topical exfoliant will help to treat and prevent ingrown hairs.
